Proven Performance
ForceShield™ products have been third-party tested and proven to meet or exceed the ASTM F3561 active shooter test method, which consists of weakening the fenestration system using ballistic projectiles (5.56 NATO, M193, 55 grain FMJ), followed by mechanically-driven impacts using a forced-entry impactor capable of delivering horizontal impacts of 400 ft-lbf. In laymen’s terms, this means withstanding rounds of gunfire followed by repeated bashing, buying precious time for building occupants.
